Greetings Twisp Valley Power and Irrigation Company shareholders.
Our annual shareholders meeting will be held on March 22nd, 2025 at 10am at the Twisp Valley Grange, located on 2nd Avenue in Twisp.
Please mark the date and attend. A quorum of shareholders is necessary for making important decisions regarding our 2025 budget, assessments, board election and more. Our annual meeting is the perfect opportunity for shareholders to participate in decisions regarding the financial and physical operation of our ditch and to provide the board with input, questions or concerns.
According to our bylaws, all board members serve a one year term and the current year’s positions will be determined by a majority vote of shareholders. Anyone wishing to serve in 2025, including current board members, will be added to the ballot.

At the end of our 2024 season, Marty Williams, officially retired as ditch master. As our need for a new ditch master is imperative to our operation, the board is reaching out to shareholders in the hope that one of you, or someone you know, is interested in doing this important job.
Job description: From May first through October, the ditch master will:
*Monitor the head gate, spillways and tail in order to maintain water delivery to all users.
* Walk and inspect the ditch at a frequency that ensures that no blockages occur and potential issues are avoided.
*Contact a director if help is needed.
*Measure and log c.f.s. daily at the fish screen.
*Interact with irrigators to ensure that water practices aid in ditch operation efficiency.
Job pay: $3,000.00 per month for period of ditch operation. With board of directors approval, any work outside the scope of daily operation will be paid at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
Training will be provided and continued guidance will be available as needed.
